Farm Nordan had with horses to do in almost 30 years and in the last 15 years concentrated on haflinger.
Haflinger horse is originally from the small town "Haflinger" in South Tyrol. Breeding started in 1874, with an Arabian stallion and a mountain jump. The offspring of that time forms the basis of the Haflinger horse we know today. Haflinger is characterized by red, white hair and tail. Size of breeding goals range from 1.38 cm to 1.50 cm.
We want to breed a versatile family horse that is beautiful and with a good temperament.
Haflinger, like other horses are born with different temperaments. This also means that we not only breed top breeders, we would also like to go out to the masses with a pleasure horse that can be used by anyone!
At farm Nordan, we try to educate the horse to what we think is best. This has resulted in good and well-liked family horses, but also in competition horses in dressage, jumping, western, distance and driving.
Farm Nordan is a member of Haflingeravlsforeningen Denmark, and is therefore subject to their mother country and breeding goals.
